This is my twelfth year with WISD and I am delighted to be here! My previous teaching experience includes 7 years with St. Stephen’s School in Wimberley, 10 years with Canyon Middle School in New Braunfels, and 1 year with Flatonia High School. I taught science for 19 years and this is my 18th year to teach math-for a grand total of 35 years; amazingly enough, this is only my 30th year of teaching! Currently, I have the privilege of teaching 6th grade math.
I was born and raised in San Marcos. (Third generation!) Texas A & M is where I chose to acquire my college degree. Whoop!
I have two grown children. My daughter, Nicole, works as an Aide for Danforth. She also has a traveling massage therapist business based in Wimberley. My son, David, recently graduated from Texas State University And is looking forward to teaching English in Japan. We all love being outdoors and enjoy swimming and gardening at home as weather permits. We also enjoy clearing land to make more open areas for grazing animals.
My family and I live on some acreage between Wimberley and San Marcos with many animals that keep us entertained. We have goats, cows, chickens, cats, dogs, a python named Smiley, and a rat named Fernanda Petunia!
